A Gmail-triggered pipeline that parses each vendor PDF, matches line items against the product catalogue, and creates the complete Jobber quote automatically.
Executive summary
Every vendor PDF quote took 15 to 30 minutes of manual transcription into Jobber. Pricing, quantities, and product names were re-keyed by hand across inconsistent vendor templates, and the error rate followed.
We built an automated pipeline that monitors the Gmail inbox through Zapier, downloads and parses each vendor PDF with a custom Python webhook, extracts line items by fuzzy matching against Jobber's product catalogue, and creates the complete quote instantly through the Jobber API. Unmatched items are flagged for review without blocking quote creation.
